I (tongue-in-cheek) call it the “Stroller and Walker” concert. The audience generally is made up of moms with toddlers and elderly folks who come in from retirement/assisted living homes. Lovely day for a concert, though!

After our morning and early afternoon adventures, I was sure we would not make it back out for the Sidewalk Saturday fun. But I managed to convince the girls to drag the duppy out. And we stumbled upon the sidewalk art. So beautiful and inspiring! The lovely fairy is from Elizabeth O Dulemba who provided the chalk for all the kids to create their own artwork as well.

Eating Out: Victory Sandwich Bar

On our way home from the Jelly Belly event, the girls and I stopped in at Victory Sandwich Bar for a “quick” bite to eat as a late lunch at 2pm. I didn’t mind much the 20 minute line to order. But after we had waited for 40 minutes for our food and seen people behind us come and go, we started to get pretty frustrated. After asking three different people, our food finally arrived by way of the manager who apologized, promised it was a one time glitch and then proceeded to comp our meal. That simple act made me go from never wanting to return to being happy to go in again sometime soon.

I got ‘Bean Boozled’ today at the Jelly Belly Tour Event at Greene’s Fine Foods. I was told the jelly bean might be strawberry jam flavored, but it turned out to be … caterpillar! Blech. But fun! We enjoyed the various events, not to mentioned the crazy VW Bug!
