Despite the lovely, warm temperatures, I was feeling quite under the weather today. Nevertheless, I got out for a couple of walks around the neighborhood, which always makes me feel better!
While our lunch was then than spectacular (Big Tex has very few vegetarian options at the moment, but I’m hopeful that will change soon), we enjoyed our weekly Wednesday lunch out.
I strive to take 10K steps in Decatur every single day. Today’s walks to the library and Baby Kroger have left me at only 7800 steps. While I’m disappointed to have missed my goal, I love being able to take care of all my errands so close to home.
Camille and I walked down to Decatur Lock & Key today (twice) and loved this little tree outside Decatur CD.
Yikes. Walking down Church from Commerce today, we saw this smashed utility pole and crumpled sign. I think perhaps this was the cause of the huge bang that I heard late last night….
This morning we headed across the street for breakfast at Thumbs Up. We love all the holiday window art around Decatur!!
Why has the Red Cross been hanging out on the square for months now? I guess I’ll just need to let them stop me once so I can satisfy my curiosity.
We headed out to Decatur’s Terrific Thursday to see some dancers on the square, but all we found were these color-changing lights.
A very rainy, cold, windy day in Decatur. We didn’t stray too far from home.
As we walked to Oakhurst today, we saw this little protest outside the courthouse.
